| Kindermusik for the Young Child is for children ages 5 years through 7 years with four sequential semesters. The program broadens and deepens the child's musical experience and expression through activities such as singing, moving, dancing, listening, playing instruments, and writing and reading music. For your budding musician, Young Child provides a pressure-free, developmentally appropriate transition where she can musically succeed before making the decision to take on more formal instruction. Young Child activities foster your child's developing voice and introduce her to instrument playing skills while she learns the symbols and vocabulary of music creation. Throughout, Young Child continues the Kindermusik focus on your child's total development, as activities encourage her expressive, creative, language, social and thinking skills and capabilities. |
