Family Time is a multi-age, multi-child Kindermusik Family class designed for the entire family to take together. You will see in one semester how music helps your family laugh together, share, take turns, and how musical learning really can be a family thing. How your little one watches the older one and learns from him. How early exposures to rhythm and rhyme develops the skills they need now and later in school. The At Home materials you receive are designed to work together to provide a fully integrated learning experience - one that helps your children develop lasting learning skills. Included are a hand puppet and a finger puppet as well as instruments, CD's, and books.

Kindermusik Family Time is designed to apply musical and developmental learning in a multi-age, multi-child, family environment. This one-room schoolhouse approach to teaching music will give families a fun, affordable option for early education programs.

We offer a new musical learning program for families with children ages newborn and up—Family Time. The new curriculum, created by Kindermusik, is designed to apply musical and developmental learning in a multi-age, multi-child, family environment.

The Kindermusik Educator, is teaching the program created exclusively for Kindermusik by a team of music and child development experts. In a “one room schoolhouse” environment, Family Time helps children develop musical skills, as well as the social skills necessary to share, take turns, and strengthen the emotional bond among family members.

“This is a great way for parents with children of various ages to spend time together, doing one activity as a family,” says Ms Amy. “The little ones watch the older ones, and learn from them.”

The Family Time class includes ten, 45 minute classes, and a set of At Home Materials. The integrated materials feature two children’s books, two instruments, two CDs of songs and activities from class, one family activity book, as well as two puppets that are featured characters in the class.
