Meet the Staff - Kindermusik of Racine
Amy Bartholf - Program Director
Giving a lifelong love of music to students from 1 month to 7 years old is an enjoyable challenge for Amy. An accomplished pianist and vocalist, she is trained and licensed by Kindermusik International to operate Kindermusik of Racine. Kindermusik of Racine offers a full program of Kindermusik classes from newborn through 7 years old. Amy teaches Kindermusik classes in 3 locations weekly in North Prairie and Wales, and is the Director of Kindermusik of Racine. 2006-2009 is going to bring tremendous growth for this program as we will continue to add curriculum offerings at various locations. Amy is also active in her church as an accompanist, substitute organist/pianist, and one of the lead vocalists for their contemporary Praise Band. Amy's program has been recognized to be in the top 50 Kindermusik programs within the United States for the last six years due to her love for children and music and to her outstanding staff support. The Kindermusik Maestro title has been given to Amy in recognition of this accomplishment. Amy has 2 children ages 16 and 13, and 4 step children ages 24, 15, 14 and 13 . She and her husband Marvin enjoy watching their children participate in numerous musical activities including band and choir. Melissa Huck It's with deep sadness to report that our beloved Kindermusik Teacher - MELISSA L. HUCK (NEE: HAAS) - RACINE, WI, age 48, passed away Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at her residence. |
Nicole Kohlmeier (prefer Nikki) Nikki is beginning her 2nd year as a Kindermusik Educator. She taught for one year before having her baby girl whom she now stays home with full time. Nikki has been in choirs and has been performing for most of her life. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Music with a voice emphasis from Carthage College in 2004. She also enjoys singing with the Worship Team at True Life Ministries in Racine. |
Erin Olson
Erin Olson is beginning her 2nd year as a Kindermusik educator! Erin is a certified music teacher in Florida and taught elementary music in the Orlando area, but calls Tampa Bay her hometown. She moved to Wisconsin about two and a half years ago to get married and raise a family. Since taking time off to be with her almost two-year old boy, Erin is getting back into teaching - and what better way than educating small children like her own! She knows just how much little ones enjoy and love music, that it just feels right to be teaching it!
Erin has thrived on singing solo and in choirs for almost twenty years now! She is currently the Senior Choir Director at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Kenosha and also teaches private voice lessons. Erin is so excited to start this new journey in music!With a love of music and teaching children, it seems like the perfect choice to become a licensed Kindermusik educator. |
