Meet the Staff - Kindermusik of Racine

Amy Bartholf - Program Director
Giving a lifelong love of music to students from 1
month to 7 years old is an enjoyable challenge for Amy. An
accomplished pianist and vocalist, she is trained and licensed by
Kindermusik International to operate Kindermusik of Racine.
Kindermusik of Racine offers a full program of Kindermusik classes
from newborn through 7 years old. Amy
teaches Kindermusik classes in 3 locations weekly
in North Prairie and Wales, and is the Director of Kindermusik
of Racine. 2006-2007 is going
to bring tremendous growth for this program as we will continue
to add curriculum offerings at various locations. Amy is also
active in her church as an accompanist, substitute organist/pianist,
and one of the lead vocalists for their contemporary Praise Band.
Amy's
program has been recognized to be in the top 50 Kindermusik programs
within the United States for the last six
years due to her love for children and music and to her outstanding
staff support. The Kindermusik
Maestro title has been given to Amy in recognition of this
accomplishment.
Amy
has 2 children ages 14 and 12,
and 4 step children ages 22, 13, 12 and 11 . She and her husband
Marvin enjoy watching their children participate in numerous musical
activities including band and choir. Amy is also a certified Step
Family Coach and an active moderator at the International StepFamily
Foundation

Tami Nelson-Payne
Tami is entering her 9th year as Kindermusik educator. With four children
of her own (13,10, 5, and 3), she understands and sees on a daily basis the
many benefits of both Kindermusik and music!
Tami has owned and operated her own private voice and piano studio (TNP
Music) for over 8 years. She is also the music director at St. Peter
Catholic Church in Kenosha where she has served for the past 15 years.
Tami is currently the Music Specialist at Racine Montessori School, where
she teaches children from ages 2 1/2 through 7th grade. She has taught voice
to students in two local high schools, serves as a vocal coach, adjudicator,
and is a substitute teacher.
Tami holds a Bachelor's degree in Music as well as Wisconsin DPI
certification. She is currently working on her certification in Piano
Pedagogy and Literature.
Tami LOVES children of all ages and truly believes that we all need to
"follow the child!" (quote by Maria Montessori). Kindermusik allows us to do
just that! |

Lisa Prochniak

Lisa, a mother to three children ages 7, 5, and 2, is very
excited to be joining our Kindermusik team. She is currently completing
her training and is looking forward to bringing her love of music,
enthusiasm for life, and her love for children to every one of her
classes. She completed an associates degree in nursing from Gateway
Technical College in 1995 and worked as an RN for a few years before
returning to her true love of music. She has been playing piano since the
age of eight and was the pianist on her church's worship team for about 10
years.
For the past 8 years, she has been maintaining a private piano studio
while working part time towards her bachelors degree in music education.
She also expects to complete the coursework for her Piano Pedagogy and
Literature certificate from UW Parkside this next year.
Lisa can't wait to begin teaching as a Kindermusik Educator! |
